Working 100% of the time at 20% productivity?

When I started working from home, I was having the time of my life. Coffee shop meetings, mid-day yoga breaks, vacations where I could pull out my laptop and hammer out a few to-dos.

Working from anywhere was so comfortable! Then, without noticing, I got too comfortable. Things started to get messy. Then I added a baby to my workplace and things completely unraveled. I was working from my bed late at night or on the couch with zero structure or balance. Because I had the ability to work from anywhere, I never unplugged. I felt like I was working 100 percent of the time but at about 20 percent productivity.

Sound familiar? I strongly believe that having the ability to work when and where you want is one of the greatest things to happen to working women. But also the most dangerous if you don't have tools in place to make you successful.

If you don't put structure around when and how you will work, you become a slave to your clients. That laptop that liberated you from your desk becomes this machine that's always holding you captive. You always wonder if you're doing enough. Will my team notice I'm inactive online for half the day? Will my clients wonder why I'm not responding to their emails?

The Treasury was my answer to that. Finally, I had a place where I could:

  • Get motivated to work by being surrounded by other ambitious women.

  • Be more productive than ever because my surroundings put me in the right mindset.

  • Get more done in less time because I wasn't having to stand in line for a latte or scope out a table with an outlet.

  • Bounce ideas off other smart women.

  • Show up as my best self at home because I had a separate space for work.

Now Iā€™m giving you a chance to have the same thing! Are you in? Let us know so we can save you a desk!
