Mrs. Doubtfire lied to me
Remember this scene in Mrs. Doubtfire? Sally Field’s character comes home from work to find the house spotless, the kids perfectly groomed and a proud Robin Williams putting the final touches on a candlelit dinner?
GUYS I THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE ME.
Find the right help and everything just falls into place, right!? It ain’t that simple.
Working as a mom is so complex and there’s always tension. Even with supportive partners and hired help, the roles are always changing and it can be terribly confusing and overwhelming.
When we opened The Treasury in 2018, Working Mom Summit was the first big event I scheduled because I desperately needed it myself and I thought others might, too.
It’s a chance to learn from and connect with other mothers who understand the tension. It’s an opportunity to really embrace who you are as a mother and as a professional and honor both roles. If you’re a working mom, I hope you’ll prioritize yourself and join us February 25-26.
