The Treasury

The real reason you aren't productive at home.

Picture this: You work from home and it's time to get started for the day. You find your coziest work spot, settle in with a cup of coffee, open your laptop.

But your mind is flooded with everything except work:

Oops, it's trash day. I need to roll the Dumpsters down.

That paperwork is supposed to get filled out before the kids start school.

I wonder if I remembered to record that Bachelor episode.

I should really practice another loaf of homemade bread right now.

Sound familiar?

I used to think I was the only one who did this, until I heard the genius Jessica Rimmer give a talk about some of the psychology of your workspace.

I learned the way my brain is conditioned to associate home with certain tasks and activities makes it almost impossible to focus on other tasks like work.

So if you can relate, you're not alone. Treasury members are much more productive at the office because they associate it with productivity! (Not Netflix!) If you're ready to give it a shot, try us free for a week.
