3 Tips for Taking Your Brand from Generic to Remarkable


The Treasury is a coworking space, but we’re really so much more. The best part of my job is creating programs and inviting women to come share their wisdom with our community. 

This month we had the chance to learn from brand strategist Selah Hirsch. She gave such great insight into what separates generic brands from remarkable ones. If you run a business, these three tips from Selah are killer:

  • Be clear and specific! Knowing what you want to be known for helps you say “no” to the things that make you murky. Ask yourself what you want to be known for and then make sure that thread runs through all your messaging.

  • Build an ecosystem. What do your clients need before and after they work with you? Help them with those connections! Clients love you to be one link in their success.

  • It’s up to you to communicate your value to clients. What are you telling them? Money is not the reason people don’t hire you. People will invest in what they believe in. Your job is to get them from frustration/pain point to gain/win. Tell them how you will do that!
